Shipping and Returns Policy

Shipping Options & Delivery Costs

We offer shipping using major carriers such as UPS, FedEx, Purolator- you will be asked to select a shipping method at checkout.

Shipping rates are a function of weight, distance and accessibility. The heavier, further, and more remote the order and delivery address is, the higher the shipping rate will be, and vice versa. Shipping rates are determined by each courier.

Paddle Porter is not responsible for any lost or damaged items that are incurred during shipping. We will do our best to assist you in resolving the issue, but please be aware that standard carrier insurance covers $100 CAD, and may take up to 12 weeks to process.

Order Processing Time

Items are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Please allow 5-7 days for processing during sales events and during holidays. Products may need to be made to order, which requires extra time. All orders placed during the weekend or on a public holiday will be sent from our warehouse on Monday or on the next business day.

Shipping times are determined by our couriers and are out of our control. Any timings provided by the courier are strictly estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise

Delivery Address & P.O. Boxes

Please note that we are unable to modify the delivery address once you have placed your order. We are sorry but we do not ship to P.O. boxes. Please note that additional shipping charges will apply for certain rural areas. You will be contacted by our shipping team.

International Orders

Your package may be subject to import duties and taxes. You, as the customer, are responsible for paying those fees. We recommend that you check with your local customs office before placing an order on our website, as these fees can sometimes be significant and we are unable to calculate these for you.

Cancelling Your Order

Our goal is to ship every order out as quickly as possible. Regretfully, we are rarely able to cancel an order once processing has begun on it.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you a confirmation email with tracking information.

It is not uncommon for some shipments to go several days without receiving tracking updates. The further you are away from Ontario, the longer those delays may be. Please allow 2-3 business days in Ontario and the surrounding provinces, and up to 5-7 business days as far as each coast. If your package has stalled beyond that, please e-mail sales@paddleporter.ca, and we will take any appropriate action at that time.

Returns

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase – please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to initiate a return. Return must be unused and in the original packaging. Used items will not be refunded, and products not in original condition will be subject to a restocking fee, at the discretion of management. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense and non-refundable. Upon receiving and inspecting the return, we’ll process your refund. The process may take up to 5-10 business days to reflect on your account.

If you believe your item is defective, please contact us with an image and an explanation of the issue. We will exchange items that are deemed defective or damaged, and not caused by normal wear and tear or negligence.
